I got to live with my divine counterpart (my twin flame) for a short time in 2021. It was a month of magic. I was not in the real world. I had passed into some other place. We were in some kind of fairy tale. It was like the heavens had opened up and a little angelic hand had extended itself to me, saying, “Now everything is going to change forever.” Magic is real, you guys. Twin flames in union experience it.
Meeting him was mind-blowing. Being separated from him for a few months was excruciating and maddening. Being “in union” with him for a few weeks was bliss. But more than mere “harmony” — it was this feeling like we were invincible. Anything was possible. We had no money, few actual opportunities for any advancement in life, and there wasn’t really anything to be excited about from an outside perspective, but we had love. And for anyone who’s ever experienced real love, it’s this intoxicating thing that changes your reality. Literally.

Nothing stood in our way. We were one with the universe. We still are. Even when he had passed, I felt — and still feel — like magic was behind everything happening. Everything about him was always larger than life. Planets seemed to align for us. We transcended physical reality together.
This experience made all other experiences on Earth feel so lifeless and bland.
When I say “magic” I mean we could manifest things with just our thoughts. We could harness the powers of creation and energy just by being in love. Beyond our small ego-minds, there was a greater purpose. Destiny was taking its course. Magic is when the universe gives you a gift.
What I mean is this: I could feel destiny moving me as if I never had a choice and the universe had all kinds of wonders in store for me.
Most other times in life, we feel like we’re going through mundane motions. We’re constantly seeking something extraordinary to thrill us for a moment. We endure boring times like waiting in traffic and doing work at horrible jobs so that we can have a few moments of happiness in our “free” time. We want to distract ourselves from our pain.
But with the twin flame experience, when I was with him, all of that fell away. Not even a single moment of my waking day was boring. Even shopping in a second-rate supermarket was thrilling. Everything felt like it had been sprinkled with fairy dust. Everything was special and just pregnant with possibilities. We were powerful.
When destiny comes to your doorstep, mundane life can’t continue.
So, my experience of twin flames in union is something made of dreams. It is a memory that is held against all other experiences as a point of reference. This is what makes life worth living. This is the magic of existence. Magic is everywhere, and I must remember this. It doesn’t matter if he’s still here or not — he taught me to believe in miracles.
