Love doesn’t have to make sense. This will blow your mind!
Many of my twin flame clients are married. As you might guess, their twin flames are not their spouses. This presents a problem, which is why they seek out guidance on the twin flame journey.
Many of them are straight women. And some of them have twin flames who are also women.
Same-Sex Twin Flames
How can this be, you might ask? Well, this happens to remind us that twin flames don’t always make sense. They don’t always have to be romantic, but sometimes when they are, they force you to break through conceptions you have about love: that it has to be with a certain kind of person, gender-wise or otherwise.
Twin flames teach us beautiful things about love. It’s infinite, after all.
Some of these same-sex twin flames aren’t romantically involved. They have a “genderless love”, as one of my clients recently said to me. The love is divine — this transcends all human conceptions of romance. It’s two souls drawn together as cosmic best friends.
This Can Happen to Anyone
Who are these straight, married women who have met their female twin flames? They come from all walks of life. Some are having trouble in their marriages, and some aren’t. Some are in their thirties, and some are in their sixties. Some were attracted to women before this experience, and some were not.
Some are very spiritual, and some aren’t — but there’s usually an element of one of the twins teaching the other one about spiritual topics. This experience doesn’t happen to people so that they can continue their mundane existence in the world. It happens to wake them up.
This strange, unexpected attraction to another woman blows their minds. They didn’t see this coming. It was not as if they were out there looking for this. And yet, it finds them and turns their worlds upside down.
Problems Arise
The dilemma isn’t always about whether they’ll leave their marriage. It’s usually about the connection, how this could happen, and what to do now. The journey isn’t so clear for most.
They want to try to fit the twin flame into their existing situation, but that isn’t easy to do. And there’s another layer of it: usually, something very difficult occurs along the path, preventing them from even being friends for a while.
Separation
This is such an intense experience that it’s inevitable that there will be hurdles. The separation phase hurts. Even with platonic twin flames, there is turbulence. With these married, straight women who have female twin flames, it’s even stranger when the barriers appear because they’re often still sifting through their feelings about the person.
