How to Manifest Your Dreams Into Reality

I am going to tell you how I’ve been manifesting my reality. I promise you, your mindset really does create your experiences, and I can’t keep this to myself anymore. Everyone needs to be practicing this crazy thing called manifestation.

In a nutshell, you have to keep a positive mindset. But I know that this sounds really annoying to some people. For instance, if you’re grieving, it’s very hard to be told that you have to get into a state of higher vibrations. You’re so stuck in a black hole of anger, sadness, and hopelessness that you feel like it’s unfair to blame yourself. I have been there and I totally relate.

But I am here to tell you that your reality is totally within your control and I can tell you why. And it’s very simple. Your mind creates your reality. You are actually creating your reality right now.

Positive Vibes: Generosity, Gratitude, and Hope

Firstly, you have to understand the power of a positive mindset. When you think good thoughts about yourself, other people, and the world, then good things start to happen.

You might argue that there are terrible things happening in the world and you can’t ignore them. My response to this is that you can ignore anything you want (duh) but more importantly, you can see the hope and goodness in any situation. It’s a choice.

Human suffering will never go away. Next time there’s a disaster, you might be the one needing international assistance because your home and life have been destroyed. You have to understand that even in the worst situations, you can find gratitude, generosity, and hope within yourself.

Understand that the universe arranges everything exactly as it should be. It brings you challenges that can rattle your resolve. But every traumatic experience is a gift of learning — there’s no lesson in strength better than something that challenges everything you held onto until now.

Keep loving other people and yourself. Believe that good things are coming. Treat others as if they’re you — because they are.

My own experience: I have bad days. I feel sick or depressed and I can’t stay in high vibes all the time. On these low vibrational days, I see that the manifestations slow down. They come in fast when I am actively practicing gratitude, which is the most powerful energy along with love. If I am also feeling a generosity of spirit and a lot of hope and joy, really good things seem to happen. As soon as I feel any fear about it — for instance, that I will soon lose the good things that I have manifested — it seems to be mirrored in what is happening in my life. The abundance recedes.

Defining What You Want and Feeling It

You can’t manifest with just a positive mindset. You have to also know what you want.

You have to be able to clearly explain what you’re looking for. Your dreams have to be specific and clear in your mind. You should write down the details of your dream lifestyle, dream relationship, or dream career. Getting specific allows you to manifest faster and it also helps you believe that you deserve these things.

You have to feel that you deserve it. You are worthy of it.

And when you imagine what you really want, feel it. It’s not really about the things you’re acquiring — it’s about the feeling you’ll have. It’s funny because you can have that feeling anytime you want even without the things you seek. And when you feel it, you become the person who attracts it. You become the person who has it. Then, you’ll see it begin to manifest.

My own experience: I’ve noticed that when I am vague about what I want, things manifest that are almost what I was looking for. When I don’t feel worthy of what I want or I believe that it isn’t real, I manifest exactly what I think I deserve, which can be what I don’t really want at all.

Remove Limiting Beliefs

We all live in a world where there are perceived limitations. What’s interesting is that we don’t all perceive the same limitations. Some of us perceive the world as cruel. You can easily be programmed to believe that you can’t do something or something isn’t possible — when in fact, you can and it is.

It’s very silly to me how humans want to convince each other that the world is an awful place, it’s unfair, you have to work extra hard for any semblance of a good life, and sacrifices must be made no matter what — namely, the sacrifice of your happiness. Why?

You can manifest some amazing things if you can dream it. You have to be able to visualize it and feel the goodness of it. It has to seem real to you. You have to be able to overcome the negative talk around you and within you. Anything that tells you that miracles aren’t possible needs to be silenced.

My own experience: I never thought I could be a full-time writer. I believed that I had to take a job I hated, convince myself I don’t hate it and grin and bear it so that I could live. But I was miserable. When I finally started to believe that I could have the job of my dreams, it started happening for me. I was the only thing standing in my way — not the world.

You can do it, too. Imagine what a glorious world this would be if everyone was living their dream life!
