Meditation Course
Join a group of meditators on Zoom for an in-depth introduction to the transformative practice of meditation! This course is aimed at beginners but it will also be interesting to seasoned meditators because you will learn to meditate using a personal mantra. Primordial Sound Meditation is based on the use of a non-linguistic vibration as a mantra that will help you focus your mind and direct your awareness within. We will also explore the physiological, mental, and spiritual effects of meditation that will help you understand your experiences as you go deeper and deeper. You’ll be given a foundation for starting your own regular practice and guidance that can help you elevate your mind to inner bliss.
In this course, you will:
- interact with a small group of students about experiences in meditation
- learn to use a mantra as a vehicle to inner stillness
- understand how meditation benefits the body and its health
- find ways to break free from unhealthy habits
- gain insights about your spiritual journey
- learn to find clarity and increase an inner connection
In each session, we will meditate for 15-20 minutes and the rest of the time will be dedicated to instruction and discussion. During the course, you will also receive your personal mantra which originates in the ancient Vedic tradition based on your time and place of birth in a 1-1 session with Emily. This course is based on Deepak Chopra’s Primordial Sound Meditation and some of his teachings.

Session 1: Physical and Emotional Benefits of Meditation (1 hour)
Session 2: 1-1 Personal Mantra Session with Emily (30 minutes, set up a time)
Session 3: How to Establish a Practice (1 hour)
Session 4: The Higher States of Consciousness (1 hour)

About Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM):
I am a Chopra-certified Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) instructor. In this course, you will learn to meditate with a personal mantra and discuss the practical as well as spiritual aspects of the meditation experience. You will receive your personal mantra which is calculated based on your place and time of birth. PSM was developed by Deepak Chopra and David Simon. It was developed based on the ancient Vedic philosophy of India. It allows students to utilize a personal mantra as a vehicle to inner stillness and self-discovery. It’s perfect for beginners as well as seasoned meditators.
