Only love can break you open and leave you this vulnerable.
Meeting your twin flame is a catalytic life event. Twin flames open a door for spiritual development in a way that no other relationship can. This is because unconditional love leaves you vulnerable to being hurt. You can’t escape it. When all of your insecurities are thrown in your face, you are forced to reckon with the changes that need to happen and the healing you have not yet done.
People who haven’t met their twin flames won’t understand this. Even very spiritual people will not believe that you need a person to help elevate you on your soul growth path. It’s common in spirituality to rely only on yourself and God to provide spiritual catalysts. But those who have met their twin flames know that there are many pathways to enlightenment.
A Difficult Path, But Totally Worth It
The twin flame experience blows your life up into pieces, and in the end, it is a great spiritual gift. I know it doesn’t seem that way on some parts of the journey, but if you persevere, you will realize this is true. There’s no other way to learn such valuable lessons about love, purpose, and identity.
The universe blesses those who meet their twin flames. Only when you have to go through the twin flame version of the dark night of the soul can you become aligned with your true self.
A Great Catalyst
True love takes your attention away from everything else. When it is obvious that you can’t be in a loving relationship with your twin flame until you’ve healed, you are more likely to put all of your energy into improving yourself. When you realize you can’t receive love from your twin flame unless you love yourself, you become obsessed with solving this problem.
The universe knew there was no other way to make you change.
There are many opportunities for soul growth in life, but few of them are as compelling as a twin flame journey. This is an experience that makes it impossible to do anything but focus on spiritual development. It’s an undeniable catalyst.
When the universe sees that you’re ready for enlightenment, it will throw you onto this path. It’s for your highest good, even if it doesn’t feel like it.
Healing and Inner Work
The universe knew that if it gave you a less harrowing experience, you’d figure out a way to go back to your mundane life and ignore your spiritual path. Most people would rather attach themselves to their material existence because it’s easier. They’d rather distract themselves than take on a hard journey of healing. (Of course, they are attaching themselves to misery and suffering by doing so, but it appears harder to change than to do the inner work.)
Few humans voluntarily choose to let go of material pursuits in order to elevate their consciousness. It’s not common to find people who want to do inner work. So, the twin flame experience, when it gives you no choice, is a beautiful opportunity for soul growth.
If you can lift yourself out of the struggles of the journey to see it from this perspective, you will be doing yourself a great favor. However, I know it’s hard. I am not denying that. I just want you to see how lucky you are. You’ve won the spiritual lottery if you’re on this twin flame path.
