One of the hallmarks of a twin flame journey is a sudden awareness that there is more to reality than meets the eye. The universe will send you signs and synchronicities to show you that you’re supported on this journey.

The following are three important signs you may get on this awakening path. When you meet your twin flame, your spiritual world explodes. It’s meant to help you see life in a new way and to show you that you can trust the universe. Things are happening just as they’re meant to even if it doesn’t seem that way at all on the human level.
I’m not saying the following signs are essential to a twin flame journey, but if you’re getting zero signs, I would question whether it’s real. Twin flames spark a spiritual awakening of monumental proportions. If you’re focused on the relationship with the person instead of your relationship with the universe, then you’re not learning anything important for the soul.
1. Songs
Many of my twin flame clients tell me about “their songs”, and I have them with my twin flame, too. He died in 2022, but as he is on the other side of the veil now, the songs still find me in my times of need. But songs would tell me messages even when he was alive.
You probably have had a playlist with your twin flame or a set of songs associated with them. And these are the songs that will pop up in the most “random” of times, just when you wouldn’t expect. For me, it’s the song Higher Love by Steve Winwood. It has played at times when I was unsure of what I was choosing and when I was embarking on a new path.
Songs reassure you that this is all real, and you’re not going crazy. The spirit guides are looking out for you.
2. Animals
Strange animal behavior may start to occur in your environment when you’re having a twin flame awakening. For instance, I had a tree frog plop into my lap while I was meditating a day after meeting my twin flame. After he died, falcons chased me down the street and a cormorant bird emerged from the waters of a lake right in front of me to look me straight in the eye. Countless representatives from the animal kingdom delivered messages to me through rare behavior along the way.
Many of my clients report similar experiences. I believe that animals can channel divine energy, and can embody the consciousness of a higher being temporarily. The universe is trying to tell you that you’re not alone if animals are acting strangely around you. But it’s something that only you can see, and to the skeptical observer, it appears to be mundane. That’s when you start to feel like you’re going mad.
3. Numbers
The most common sign in any spiritual awakening is the repetition of numbers. If you see 111 everywhere you go, you’re on the right track. You’re aligned. Reality is converging in you.
Often, this happens to people just when they feel like their lives are falling apart or their twin flame isn’t speaking to them. But that’s why the universe needs to communicate this message to you urgently. You must have faith. Things are working in your favor behind the scenes.
The universe has your back, and signs are a reassurance of this. You can choose to fully believe and live your life in trust, or you can choose to keep resisting, in which case it will just get crazier and crazier until you finally surrender.
