Twin flames teach you that there’s such a thing as a deep, spiritual connection between two human beings. You learn new things about existence. Love is real. There’s hope that you can find meaning in a relationship beyond your wildest dreams. The twin flame connection shows you what is possible in this human existence.
The downside is that many of us can’t be with our twin flames. We are separated by strange circumstances — or, in my case, by death.
The reality is that when you’ve been awakened to this kind of incredible connection and you can’t be with this person, you seek another connection like it desperately. It feels like the only thing that really means anything.
You might find yourself going on dates that are totally fine with very nice people, and then crying afterward. You might find yourself trying to connect with another human on the same level, only to fail over and over again miserably.
But you’ve learned what love is, and this is a gift. You are right to try to love again and again, even when the other person doesn’t reciprocate or understand what you’re seeking. You can do no wrong seeking real love. As you search, it will do you well to understand when that connection isn’t going to be there so you can lovingly walk away.
You can love people without having a deep connection.
The twin flame connection is mind-blowing but it leaves you wanting more. It’s frustrating. It’s downright painful a lot of the time. That connection is strong, and it makes it hard to focus on anything else.
It seems impossible that you’ll ever find a connection like it again.
But I will offer my humble advice: don’t allow this connection and the unrequited love to stop you from living life fully. Love others. Seek meaning in every situation. Allow yourself to feel all the emotions fully, and know yourself.
Cultivate a deep connection with self and then go forth and find connections with others. You never know what you may find next.
