The Spiritual Law Of Giving And The Nature Of Money

None of us are winning unless all of us are winning. Learn how the spiritual law of giving and receiving helps us all win.

abundance and the law of giving

If you won the lottery today, what would you do? Would you buy a mansion and several sports cars? Or would you give the money to charity? People often think that once they get money, they don’t need to share. They easily forget that money flows, and so does life. We’re all connected to each other through an economy and ecosystem, as well as an intricate web of energy and consciousness. We are all just parts of a whole. Our goal here should be to elevate as many people as possible in this life, which we can do without money, but when we have it, it gives us an extra way to do so. We all know this at our core: our purpose on Earth is to be of service to others. This is the spiritual law of giving and receiving.

This is why it makes no sense to hoard and hold onto money.

People Who Hoard Wealth

Money flows like a river through this world. Wealth is an accumulation of energy that can come and go. If it comes to you, it was never intending to stay forever. Currency follows the flow of a current, and you sometimes get to direct that current. But if you keep the money and build a dam in that river, stopping the current, it benefits no one. It ruins the landscape!

None of us are any more valuable as souls than any other. If you find yourself in a state of abundance, you have begun to play a role in the direction of the current and you hold the power to give abundance to others. As a receiver of money, it’s your job to spread it around by employing people or giving to those who need it most. Who does it serve to keep it to yourself? If the rest of the world is suffering, you will suffer. Spiritually, we are all one.

You’re not here to sit in a multi-million dollar mansion with diamonds while allowing your fellow human to suffer. You are here to serve others, full stop.

Serving is the Opposite of Deserving

Who says that you deserve anything? If you end up with a large sum of money, what makes you think you deserve it? The feeling that you deserve something is what you will use to justify your greed. It poisons you. It makes you think it’s okay to stop the flow of money to you and then through you to others. It interrupts your ability to receive, which precedes the ability to give.

If money arrived on your doorstep and you didn’t receive it properly, with love and gratitude, then you certainly will not be able to pass it along properly.

If you think you deserve it, then you lose your ability to serve. You start to think you’re somehow better than other people, and you begin to isolate yourself from the oneness of the universe. And we all know nothing good can result from that.

Your Responsibility is to Keep it Flowing

When you come into wealth, you inherit the responsibility of designating its route. You have become part of the story of that energy flow. You must move it to others. You have to create employment or make gifts. If you don’t practice this activity, then abundance will stop coming to you because you’ve clogged the artery. This is the law of giving.

Take These Ideas with You

Staying in a state of flow will allow you to keep your wealth in a state of flow. More importantly, your life energy will stay flowing. It will also make you feel more fulfilled and give you a purpose. When you benefit other people and lift their souls up, you are doing a service for us all. If all of us aren’t winning, then none of us are winning.

You might think that money is everything, but it’s not. Saving money and keeping it from flowing to others takes its toll. An abundance of love and good energy in your life is the greatest wealth you can have, and you need to keep that flowing, too.

Now, as the ladder of life has been strung, you might think the sweep’s on the bottom-most rung. Though I spend me time in the ashes and smoke, in this whole wide world there’s no happier bloke.
