Messy Meditation: New Book Out Now!

My fourth book is about the realistic practice of meditation.

There are many resources on meditation out there. However, I find that few of them connect the real human experience to the practice. It’s insanely challenging being human — as it’s meant to be — and to embark on a meditation journey is incredibly brave. That’s why I felt that I needed to publish a book on this topic. It’s called Messy Meditation and I am very excited to announce that it is now available on Amazon!

I’ve written three books before this one. This time, I wanted to give readers a glimpse into how a meditation practice can relate to mental health and the spiritual path. Our humanity provides many challenges, but when you choose to meditate, you begin to transcend the suffering of life.

Real Humanity vs. Meditation

A meditation practice can be hard to maintain, and there are many barriers one must overcome to find the path toward inner peace. It takes courage to look within. Especially in the most traumatic times, meditation doesn’t seem like it is possible. However, the emotional and spiritual rewards are worth the dedication. My book encourages everyone to keep trying.

In this book, the practice of meditation is looked at from the perspective of a real human being. There are often struggles in being human, but to find bliss, we must understand and overcome some of them. Bring your authentic self to this book and get ready to learn the power of your own mind.

Heavy Emotions vs. Expansive Consciousness

Although meditation can be challenging at times, it can also open the door to a higher state of consciousness when needed most. Themes of grief and depression will be explored in my book as well as transcendental experiences and the loss of the ego. Mental health is a real barrier. Personal experiences of resilience and dedication to the practice are shared for a deepening of understanding.

Three Parts

This book has three parts. It starts with a beginner’s guide to meditation in part one, defining the difference between meditation and other experiences such as mindfulness. In the second part, deep topics related to mental health are discussed. Humanity and its struggles can be at odds with the search for inner peace, and this book aims to help anyone approach meditation with a realistic perspective no matter what emotional and mental challenges are being faced at the same time. In the third part, the focus is on higher states of consciousness and the oneness of existence.

Meditation can help you heal, transcend your pain, and rise to new levels of awareness that are worth the journey.

“It’s the acceptance of [it] that is important, not the elimination of it. Become friends with your mess. Love the mess.”
