I often tell my clients that one reason they’ve met their twin flame is that the universe wants to teach them a lesson in trust. It’s all about trusting the universe and trusting the self.
When such a wild experience happens to you, the human-level, physical, “mundane” world seems to stop matching up with what you know is true. You can feel the connection with this person, yet they don’t seem to feel it. It can drive you mad. You are forced to trust the intuition which tells you that you and this person have a soul bond. If you resist it, you may find yourself facing stranger and stranger circumstances including physical symptoms and feelings of mental dissociation. The universe will keep orchestrating ways for you to look right at the problem and face the truth: there is a whole inner world that doesn’t match up with the outer world.
Intuition is your connection with your higher self and divine wisdom. Without that connection, you may often feel lost, purposeless, and depressed. Trusting the intuition is one of the greatest spiritual lessons you can learn as a human being.
Nothing in the visible world will corroborate this inner knowing. You may begin to ask questions about why the universe is doing this, and how such a strong feeling can seem so incorrect on the surface. Other people around you won’t understand what you’re going through — they’ll think you sound crazy. So, you are left with your own thoughts, compelled to keep them to yourself. And it becomes a dark night of the soul — one in which your only light is the faith you have in your own inner voice.
Your intuition always knows the truth: that your twin flame and you have been connected for many lifetimes and it goes beyond the illusion of the physical plane.
Take it as a great gift that you’ve been presented with this experience. Most people only dwell on the surface of life. They only know what the five senses tell them. If their inner voice speaks to them, they normally ignore it. The intuition is drowned out by compulsion, logic, and anxious thoughts. But you? You have a rare opportunity to cut through all of that and hear what your inner wisdom has to say.
Twin flames don’t meet each other in every lifetime. If you have met yours, then you have basically won the spiritual lottery. You’ve probably worked very hard in previous lifetimes and in this one. You are spiritually ready for such an experience to turn your world upside down.
Likely, your intuition was already coming through more strongly than other people before you met your twin flame. It is the voice that connects you to the divine source and the only way it can speak is through your inner microphone, not through your connection to the outside world.
The twin flame journey teaches you to listen to your intuition. It sounds insane, I know. Your twin flame probably has no awareness of what you sense is going on. But on a higher plane of existence, the soul knows. Your twin flame and you are side by side “up there” orchestrating all of this for your highest good. Your higher self and their higher self want you to be able to listen and learn.
So, keep trusting. That’s all it takes. It’s very hard to trust when the mundane world seems to completely contradict what you feel is going on. That’s why it’s a spiritual lesson. If it was obvious from the five senses what was happening, then nothing miraculous could occur. You have to be led by blind faith in order to achieve great things.
