To manifest, we have to embody the energy we want to attract and send it out beyond the known limits of the self. We are telling the universe and our subconscious (which may be the same thing) what we want to see in the world. On the other hand, to use intuition we have to do the opposite. We have to be open to receiving messages from the universe. We are allowing it to tell us what it wants. Both are important aspects of being human.
They say that when you pray, you’re speaking to God. When you meditate, God is speaking to you. This is what I have found to be true. To only practice one side of it is to miss the whole dynamic of reality.
Using Your Intuition to Receive
Intuition requires a lot of inner silence. One must “empty out” in order to make space to receive. The thoughts have to be quieted and your constant inner voice must keep its muttering to a minimum. Think of yourself as a receptacle for energy from the universe, which will arrange itself as messages. Sometimes it is a vision and sometimes it’s a voice.
The universe is always trying to guide you through your intuition, but you have to slow down and step aside from your own mind to receive those incoming messages. Most people ignore them.
Your ego-mind gives you a lot of inner “chatter” and that often blocks us from hearing our inner voices that are coming from Source. The universe will send you a message that appears as if it’s coming from inside you (and in a way, it is) but it won’t feel the same as the messages you get from your ego. The voice may seem the same at first, but you’ll know it’s intuition if it isn’t logical.
To discern your incoming intuitive messages, you have to get good at listening deeply to yourself. Meditation has helped me on this path immensely.
Manifestation Is About Sending Messages
You’re sending messages out into the universe all the time whether you know it or not. The energy you embody is felt by others. Your thoughts and emotions are energy as well, so they’re affecting your world even when you would rather they didn’t. Your mindset matters. It creates your reality.
Just as your intuition is always coming in, your thoughts are constantly creating your manifestations.
In order to manifest the life you truly desire, you have to be very disciplined and vigilant about your thoughts. Gratitude is one of the great keys to manifestation. You must always remain humble and grateful to attract more abundance. Send the message to the universe that you are grateful, content, and excited about life.
With manifestation, you send energy outward. In contrast, intuition is receiving it inward.
Why It Matters
To co-create with the universe, you have to do both the sending and receiving of energies. The principles of manifestation are not to be ignored since we live in a physical world. And the skill of listening to your intuition is of paramount importance in learning what path you should be on.
When you try to do just one of these things without the other, your life won’t fully come together. They are co-dependent. Here’s what I mean: you have to know what the universe wants for you through your intuition in order to manifest your best life. And you have to work on manifesting a life that the universe wants for your own good, but also for the greater good.
If you are having intuitive downloads but you don’t act on them, what good are they to anyone? If you are working on manifesting your dream life but it’s all about you and has nothing to do with your intuitive messages from the universe, then why are you pursuing it? There has to be a what, a why, and a how.
Practice both receiving and creating. They must be balanced in order for great things to happen.
