Self-realization is imperative at this point in the human journey.

If you’re reading this, you must be human, and being human entails a participation in humanity. You can’t disconnect yourself from the rest of us. This is a collective, and no matter what you do to try to struggle against it by breaking apart from it or denying your role in it, you must eventually reckon with the fact that we are all here on this planet together. There’s no way around that.
In today’s world, there are many people who believe that countries define us and that nationalities, ethnicities, and governments are dividing lines between separate sections of humanity. But this is an increasing problem as the world develops communication and transportation technology that unites us with people on the other side of the planet quickly. The more you venture into the world to discover people from faraway places or those closeby who differ from you, the more obvious it is that we’re all the same.
Creating separation from others based on illusory boundary lines is increasingly problematic as we come closer and closer together, forced to discover how similar we are.
None of us is exempt from the collective. None of us is above anyone else. Borders have shifted over thousands of years and civilizations continue to rise and fall. Are countries real? What is permanent? What defines us and sets us apart from humans in other geographical locations?
As we evolve to higher points in consciousness as a collective, it seems an obsolete idea to use the current map of the world as a criterion for loyalty toward some humans and not others. And yet, people continually act as if they are entitled to life’s comforts and resources simply because they live in a certain geographic area.
None of this is real. Societies are temporary. What’s permanent and real is the collective consciousness, the soul, and humanity’s destiny. In order to solve the problem of war and discord in the world, we must adopt a spiritual perspective on life. Otherwise, we will continue to prioritize ourselves over others simply because of imaginary boundary lines. This will be the inevitable downfall of any group.
Eventually, we must face our similarities instead of our differences. Soul evolution does not happen when we are divided. We are here on Earth seeking truth, justice, prosperity, and love. The soul did not come here to fight over resources to the extent of abusing and killing each other. We are not here to pursue selfish ends.
Your soul didn’t incarnate on this planet in order to have a comfortable, stress-free life at the expense of your neighbors here or in a faraway country.
So, how do we achieve world peace? The only way to world peace is to accept each other in oneness. What does this mean? It’s the path of self-realization. It’s rising above petty desires and pursuits to see things from a soul perspective. We are not divided in spirit, therefore the wisest of us will not try to create divisions in civilization.
The soul knows that it’s here experiencing existence in a collective. If we prioritize the happiness of humanity over our individual happiness, we will find peace in the world. The soul seeks the experience of compassion and oneness, not chaos and war.
Individual humans prosper when societies are at peace. Societies prosper when humanity is harmonious. We don’t need to do away with borders and governments right now in order to have world peace, but we do need to recognize the need for selflessness.
It is self-destructive to hoard resources just for yourself and your community. A country’s group of individuals should not see itself as a higher priority than the rest of the human collective. The focus should not be on self-centered needs. This will come back around one day to create problems for any group that chooses this path. The universe operates according to a law of divine justice.
Selfishness is not the goal of human life. Selflessness is rewarding.
Thinking deeply about the plight of mankind benefits us all, and offering empathy to others is an act of empathy for the self. We must never lose sight of the fact that we’re all in this together. It is always the right choice to help increase world peace by standing for truth and justice, for these ideals affect us all. We must stand together to carry the torch of democracy, and never exclude anyone, no matter where they’re from, from the pursuit of freedom.
