Your twin flame is your soul partner on this journey from lifetime to lifetime. They’re your divine counterpart; your other half. You help each other on your soul mission together, and you serve each other valuable soul lessons about love along the way. This is the most catalytic person in your journey. Although you may have deep connections with others along the way, they’re a soul that is with you in spirit everywhere you go.
A few years ago, I was open to the idea of multiple twin flames. I often try not to form strong opinions about spiritual subjects until I have enough experience to determine the truth for myself. Now I have had time to reflect, and it doesn’t make sense that we would have more than one twin flame. I’ll explain why.
If we had more than one twin flame, it would water down the experience.
We need this inexplicable awakening experience to be the pinnacle of existence for us; otherwise, it would mean that the twin flame journey is mundane. If it were commonplace, it wouldn’t be special. But it isn’t mundane — it’s highly meaningful. So, it only happens once. If it could happen again, that would take away and “water down” the experience.
Also, who would want it to happen again? Most people who have been through this know that it’s a very difficult experience. It hurts. I wouldn’t wish my twin flame journey on anyone else. It taught me a lot, and it was the biggest gift of my life, but the insanity I had to go through to get here is not something I want to repeat in this lifetime. I’m done for now.
You only need one twin flame to learn the soul lessons
The universe knows you don’t need more than one of these wild experiences to have the lessons your soul came to learn. So, you have this one person — your twin flame — who shakes everything up and changes your life. There won’t be more like this. If you could have two of them, that would be a lot of hard lessons to learn.
Everything is part of a divine plan, especially on the twin flame journey. You only need one. The universe knew that’s all it would take to awaken you.
Walk-ins are possible
Just because you may only meet one twin flame doesn’t mean they can’t find you again in a different body. This sounds insane, but it’s a common topic with my clients. “Walk-ins” are souls that leave one body and then inhabit another. Your twin flame can channel themselves through a new person in your life. But that is still the same soul — the same energy as before. Not a different soul.
If you think you’ve met two twin flames, you are mistaken. Sometimes a soulmate can have such an intense connection with you that you think it’s a twin flame. Also, there are possibilities for smooth and expansive relationships with people who are not your twin flame. It doesn’t have to be a twin flame to be meaningful and valuable.
